Captain America Civil War: The teams revealed

Right. Feel I need to talk about the new Concept art for 2016's Batman V. Supe- Oh sorry, Captain America: Civil War. This film will be based on the popular story line Marvel Civil War. The film be about Iron Man and Captain America fighting against one another over an act which demands accountability and oversight of superheroes. First off I have to say that the previous film, Avengers: Age Of Ultron, did not help set this film up very well, Because if anyone should fight for heroes to be held accountable for their actions it most certainly shouldn't be Iron man. If anyone deserves to be held accountable for their actions it's Tony Stark. He created Ultron. An artificial intelligence which went rogue and almost committed mass genocide. Stark did this behind the backs of his team-mates, he didn't even apologize and  he walked away scot-free. Honestly, Stark (and Bruce Banner for assisting) should be in prison for what he's done. However, I'm hoping that

Assassin's Creed: Will it break the Video game curse?

So today an official image of Michael Fassbender was released to the public for the Assassin's Creed movie which is coming out on December 21st 2016. Fassbender will play Callum Lynch, a character made specifically for the film. Lynch discovers that he is the descendant of the Assassin's Guild and relives the memories of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Gaining the skills and knowledge of his ancestor he's able to take on the Knights Templar in present day. Personally I love Assassin's Creed. It's a great game series and I'm loving the costume that Fassbender is wearing is almost like it's taken out of the game. With the hood and the arm blades all looking so authentic. It's also good to point out that the film seems to be respecting the time period in which Aguilar lives in as the costume has a very 15th Century-esque look to it so I'm glad they're taking the material seriously. However, I do feel that making up new char

The Star Wars Hype

If you're going to do a film blog you need to talk about Star Wars! In the fall of 2012 it was announced that Disney had bought Lucasfilm from mastermind George Lucas and, in effect, were to create a new Star Wars trilogy. At first fans weren't too happy about the news. Mainly because the last Star Wars trilogy didn't live up to the standards of the original and also the films would be produced by Disney, a company well known for happy, cheery and very family-friendly fairytale adaptations (Similar reactions to how Marvel fans reacted when Disney bought the rights to Marvel Studios). But now it seems everyone's had a change of heart. Everyone is waiting eagerly for this next chapter in the saga to be released, analysts are expecting it to be the biggest releases of 2015, and this is the year which saw Jurassic World top The Avengers to be the third highest grossing film of all time. So what's exactly got the fans to do a complete 180 and get on board with the n
