David Harbour is Hellboy! First look!

Earlier this year it was announced that Lionsgate would be doing a Hellboy reboot, with actor David Harbour (Stranger Things, The Equalizer) taking on the titular role of Hellboy. And today we now have our first look at Harbour in the role, courtesy of Hellboy creator Mike Mignola. And he looks pretty good!  Harbour definitely looks intimidating as Hellboy, with the muscle, the stern look and the arm. Key differences from Ron Perlman's (Driver, Pacific Rim) take on the character is definitely the long hair, the shaved horns are positioned higher on his forehead and the rock arm has more of a metallic look to it. So it's enough to give Hellboy a different look without making him unrecognisable.  There are a couple of things I'm a bit disappointed with. J.J Abrams Directing Star Wars Episode IX

A week after Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World, The Book Of Henry)  stepped down as director of Episode IX it seems that Disney did not take long in finding his replacement. Which I will be laying out in this post: Star Wars: The Force Awakens and its success There is no shadow of a doubt that Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) was an iconic moment in Star Wars history. It was the big introduction to the franchise for a whole new generation, it redeemed the fran

Colin Trevorrow leaves Star Wars Episode IX

Last night Lucasfilm officially announced that Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World, The Book Of Henry) was stepping down as director of Star Wars: Episode IX. Lucasfilm issued the Following Statement:    "Lucasfilm and Colin Trevorrow have mutually chosen to part ways on Star Wars Episode IX. Colin has been a wonderful collaborator throughout the Development Process, but we have all come to the conclusion that our visions for the project differ. We wish Colin the best and will be sharing more information about the film soon." This is the second change in directors that the Star Wars franchise has faced in the past few months, with directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller (21 Jump Street, The Lego Movie)  being fired from the Han Solo origin film. Colin Trevorrow According to the statement, the decision was down to creative differences. However, whilst this may be true, it could also be because of the studio losing faith in Trevorrow. His most recent film, The Boo
