Weekly Movie Highlights: Flash Page One Rewrite, Tim Miller for Terminator Reboot

In this week for news in cinema, the Flash movie is getting a complete redo with a page one rewrite, hope has been rekindled for the Terminator Franchise, possible casting choice for Deadpool 2 has been teased and one of the U.K's best actors has tragically passed. 1. The Flash Movie in Crisis? Yes, things don't seem to be looking well for the Scarlet Speedster. After the second director, Rick Famuyiwa, decided to leave the project in October it seems Warner Bros. have decided to wipe the slate clean with a Page One Rewrite. The Rewrite will be done by writer Joby Harold, who was the writer on Guy Ritchie's King Arthur film coming out this year, he has also written the Robin Hood: Origins film, which will star Taron Egerton as the Main character. Now, whilst I am personally excited to see the new King Arthur movie, both of these two blockbusters, that are to Harold's name, are untested with audiences. No one really knows if his writing will click with the mains

Superhero films of 2017

The Superhero genre has been growing heavily in since the turn of the Millennium. With Marvel Studios dominating the box office, DC slowly building the cinematic universe (Or quickly, depending on who you ask), and Fox having success with their Marvel characters. In fact, this genre is so strong that I had to completely remove it from my list of 10 blockbusters coming out in 2017, as they would have simply consumed the list. This list is ranked from what I'm personally least anticipated to see to what I'm most anticipated to see. I hope you enjoy. 8. Thor: Ragnarok The God of Thunder returns with the third instalment of his trilogy. With Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston returning in their roles, but also, Mark Ruffalo joins the cast reprising his role as Bruce Banner A.K.A: The Hulk. Suggesting a loose ada

10 Blockbusters to look out for in 2017

So another Year has passed, and now another must begin. And with it comes a new slate of films ready for release. This year seems to be lined up as perhaps the biggest years to date for blockbusters. With franchises being started, re-invented or just continuing. Making this list was quite difficult to make. But I believe, for better or worse, these will be the blockbusters that will represent 2017. I won't be putting in any superhero movies coming out this year because there are just so damn many. They'll be given their own list later on. I hope you enjoy the list. 10. Pirates Of The Caribbean 5 It's been 6 years since the last Pirates movie. And, after the last movie, the franchise is in desperate need of some franchise CPR. With Johnny Depp reprising his famous role as Jack Sparrow once again, and Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley returning to the franchise as Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan. Only time will tell what will happen with this film. But this cou
